Ändringar av "Roots & Routes"

Roots & Routes is a community event concept that supports newcomers and migrants in building both social belonging and career pathways in Gothenburg.

The project will deliver small interactive events (30–40 participants) it could be more, including a panel consisting of a moderator plus up to 4 guest speakers, with 1 of the speakers being from Biskopsgården, and will lead to open discussions, and structured networking activities to create meaningful connections.

While we specifically aim to engage residents from Biskopsgården, the project also targets participants across Gothenburg in the short and long term. Therefore, we propose hosting the events in a central and accessible location such as Convendum in central Gothenburg.

The project contributes to social cohesion by reducing isolation, encouraging interaction between diverse groups, and helping participants build networks, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Estimated cost per event: 30 000 kr, depending on venue and resources.
